Let’s Dance Together 4!

I start to feel myself too old for youth exchanges … “Let’s Dance Together” in Italy was the 4-th edition of the project. I enjoyed the stay in Casarano, because it was summer time there, because people were very friendly and nice, because it was the possibility to be with Marco more and because I wanted to visit Italy but …

I think I am fully ready to lead my own project (or may be more than one) and not only be a participant (of course talking about youth exchanges and not training courses).

I really didn’t want to be involved in the organizational stuff, I just wanted to enjoy my time in Italy with Marco … it didn’t work … We had to make a presentation of traditional dances for public and together with Italian boy (that helped me to become an Italian – English translator) I was trying to move the people to make a performance. I never had the opportunity to make a show in 3 hours … but we did and it turned out to be pretty nice (though it could be better and my stomach was suffering from the stress I got during the planning time).

Result:

- Enjoying the sunny Italy (thanks to the weather I had a chance to swim in the sea in October and enjoy the warm weather of 25 – 27 degrees C)
- Learned to play zills (a special instrument for belly dance)
- Learned to dance a kind of belly dance with wings and performed it in public at the show
- Became Italian – English translator (only one way till now)
- Of course met incredible people
